    Abstract:

Applications: Chipless RFID is a potential alternative to chip based RFID for low cost applications. Enhancing the bit capacity of a chipless tag has been approached via multiple techniques like hybrid encoding and frequency shift encoding A slotted signal line CPW (SSLCPW) is designed to produce high-Q resonances. Coupled resonators at different alignments generate much higher number of logic states than available frequency shift encoders. The idea is presented using various configurations of coupled split ring resonators. For one particular case, a practical end to end implementation of the tag with two cross polarized UWB antennas is given and results are presented for selected tag IDs.
Advantages: Low cost alternative to chip based RFID Item tracking in supply chain management and manufacturing line. IoT sensor networks Recyclable RFID solutions

Thanks to the Web, it is much easier today to have a national and regional “inventory of resources”, so as to match users with the resources they need, and to do all this in an efficient and transparent manner.

This can lead to a leap in R&D productivity and greatly enhance the effectiveness of public investment. This is the motivation behind I-STEM.
