Please describe in detail including the TRL Level:
TRL 6: Prototype System tested in intended environment close to expected performance

    Abstract:

Applications: 1. It supports ride and handling analyses, chassis controls development, software integration testing, and hardware-in-the-loop testing. 2. By integrating vehicle dynamics models with a 3D environment, you can test ADAS and automated driving perception, planning, and control software. 3. An autonomous car can go anywhere a traditional car goes and do everything that an experienced human driver does.
Advantages: 1. Area of vehicle dynamics leads to implement virtual test driving 2. The dynamic behavior of vehicles can be analysed in several different ways 3. The techniques will also enable to guide autonomously a land vehicle from one point to another using public roads. 4. A human passenger is not required to take control of the vehicle at any time, nor is a human passenger required to be present in the vehicle at all.

THE VISION
THE MISSION
ABOUT I-STEM
It has always been the basic tenet of the Government of India, in generously funding R&D efforts at academic institutions over the years, that facilities established through such support be made available to those needing them and qualified to make use of them for their own research work

However, this was never easy or straightforward for, among other reasons, there was no ready source of information of what facility was available and where. Thanks to the Web, it is much easier today to have a national and regional “inventory of resources”, so as to match users with the resources they need, and to do all this in an efficient and transparent manner.

This can lead to a leap in R&D productivity and greatly enhance the effectiveness of public investment. This is the motivation behind I-STEM.
