    Abstract:

Applications: 1. An organic light emitting diode-based cluster display is disclosed. The cluster display includes organic light emitting diodes fabricated on a glass substrate. The cluster display is made by patterning electrodes and photoresist layers of the OLED device, wherein the photo resist layer is configured to define shape of a plurality of pixels of the organic light emitting diode. 2. The cluster display includes a flexible terminal connector configured to connect one or more electrical terminals at one end one or more mechanical connectors on the other end. The cluster display includes a driving circuit coupled to the one or more mechanical connectors. 3. The driving circuit includes constant current driving ICs, resistors and multiplexing ICs based on the driving scheme of the OLED pixels. The cluster display includes a plurality of lighting areas made of OLEDs in the form of seven-segments, signages such as alphabets, symbols etc. and matrix displays such as dot matrix or passive matrix (PMOLED) or active matrix (AMOLED) on the glass substrate.

This can lead to a leap in R&D productivity and greatly enhance the effectiveness of public investment. This is the motivation behind I-STEM.
