Essential Qualification and specializations: Post 01: MSc/MS in Condensed Matter/Solid State Physics/Nanoscience & Nanotechnology Post 02 & 03: ME/M.Tech in Microelectronics/VLSI/ Nanotechnology/ Material Science Engineering Or MSc in Physics/Electronics with specialization in Condensed Matter & Nanoscience Post 04: ME/M.Tech in Electronics Communication/Signal Processing with required knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Post 05: M.Sc./M.Tech. in Physiology/ Biotechnology/Biochemistry or related Life Science disciplines. Students with M.Pharm. degrees can also apply. Candidates having previous experience with preclinical models (mice or rats) will be given preferences. :  

Project Title: “Development of 2D materials based sensor systems for rapid diagnosis of human diseases through analysis of exhaled breath” under Promotion of University Research and Scientific Excellence (PURSE) scheme of DST.

Investigators: Dr. Arnab Hazra, Dept. of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Prof. Subhashis Gangopadhyay, Dept. of Physics Prof. Syamantak Majumder, Dept. of Biology Dr. Parikshit Sahatiya, Dept. of Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Project Tenure: 4 years

Job Description: Project Associate-I/II will carry out the experimental work including data collection, materials synthesis, characterizations, device fabrication and testing. He/she will also write the research papers in indexed journals, conferences and file patents. He/she will all be involved in design of a prototype device.

Registration for PhD: Selected candidates will be given the opportunity for a full time PhD program at BITS, Pilani as per the institute norms.
