Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/ Project Associate-1 in a time bound research project for a temporary period purely on contractual basis as per the following details:
Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Associate-1
Project Title: Mitigating Ettringite-Induced Heaving in Sulfate-Laden Soils Using Quarry Dust as Co-Additive with Calcium-Based Stabilizers
Funding Agency: SCIENCE & ENGINEERING RESEARCH BOARD (SERB)
Principal Investigator: Dr. Sayantan Chakraborty, Department of Civil Engineering
Project Tenure: 1 Year
Job Description: The candidate be involved in sample preparation and testing of treated soil specimens, analyzing results, and writing research papers for publication in journal and conference proceedings.
Upper Age Limit Age not exceeding 35 years as on the date of interview.
Age relaxation is allowed up to 5 year for SC/ST/PH/OBC/WOMEN candidates.
Fellowship: 31,000/- per month for NET/GATE qualified candidates. 25,000 per month for non-NET/GATE qualified candidates.
Registration for PhD.: Selected candidates will be given the opportunity for a full time PhD program at BITS, Pilani as per the institute norms.
