Professional Development Course on Device and Systems Packaging

Event Scope :

It will be offered online as a Professional Development Course to educate academic faculty, industry engineers, and postgraduate students in India. Consistent with the ISM initiative by the Government of India. The course offering is being managed by BITS, Pilani, starting on September 23, 2023. A total of 21 classes are planned on Saturdays and Sundays at 7.30 PM IST time. 

• Each student receives a copy of the textbook. 
• The low-cost registration fee includes the book
• Book and course content are the same
• 42 hours of teaching over three months for the entire course.
• Faculty, Students, and Engineers can choose selective topics by paying for each class.

Event Brief :

Well-aligned with the National Semiconductor Mission (NSM), BITS Pilani has been at the forefront of Semiconductor Education and Research. Recently, we have started a unique CoE in this Domain. The CoE is named as CREST (Center for Research Excellence in Semiconductor Technologies). 

As one major activity, BITS Pilani and CREST are conducting a professional development course on "Introduction to Device and Systems Packaging." It will be offered online as a Professional Development Course (PDC) by BITS Pilani to serve the emerging needs of Indian semiconductors and packaging. Global experts will teach this course; the intended recipients are Industry Engineers, Academic Faculty, and postgraduate students. Participation certificates will be provides and this course will be offered on a quaterly basis.
