TTRL 6: A prototype of Graphene coating on glass or quartz as a transparent heater is displayed in Greenhouse, CeNS, for proof of concept. The heater works with the application of a moderate AC or DC power supply. This device being transparent greater than 85 percent is capable of heating up to 120 degreeC

Applications: • ultra-low light detection Insitu microscopic study at elevated temperatures Cell culture Sensors Solar cell Host substrate (Binding the enzymes, lipids etc.) Defogging
Advantages: Direct growth on the non-catalytic substrate using bio precursor Simple and Eco-friendly process Low cost Adhesion of the films is strong to substrate

However, this was never easy or straightforward for, among other reasons, there was no ready source of information of what facility was available and where. Thanks to the Web, it is much easier today to have a national and regional “inventory of resources”, so as to match users with the resources they need, and to do all this in an efficient and transparent manner.

This can lead to a leap in R&D productivity and greatly enhance the effectiveness of public investment. This is the motivation behind I-STEM.
