Please describe in detail including the TRL Level:
TRL level 4 A flat tyre is one of the worst things to happen to a motorist for the sheer inconvenience it causes These days tyre technology has improved to quite an extent and so have roads which theoretically should bring down the incidence of punctures Still instances of puncture are hampering the activities of transport and road safety To get to the root of the problem lets first identify the reason behind the puncture and then address the solution to it Reasons behind the puncture of particular tyre comes from the type of tyre and its designed based manufacturing To design a mechanism that would prevent the flat tyres so that we can take vehicle to the nearby service station and till that tyre should not be damaged or should not compromise with safety Considering this We have achieved the objective of continuously pumping air into tyre without halting the motion of the vehicle Though we have proved the principle it requires intricate manufacturing to implement the idea

    Abstract:

Applications: The cam and cylinder can be mounted on wheels of two wheeler to avoid puncture and pump air into tire
Advantages: Till now in automobile industry and on road there is not any vehicle which has any provision for avoiding flattening of tyres Every time a tyre is punctured we have to rush to the garage and remove trye and mend it but this mechanism will help keep vehicle going by pumping air into tyre till it reaches garage thus accidents caused by sudden flattening of tyres on roads can be avoided

THE VISION
THE MISSION
ABOUT I-STEM
It has always been the basic tenet of the Government of India, in generously funding R&D efforts at academic institutions over the years, that facilities established through such support be made available to those needing them and qualified to make use of them for their own research work

However, this was never easy or straightforward for, among other reasons, there was no ready source of information of what facility was available and where. Thanks to the Web, it is much easier today to have a national and regional “inventory of resources”, so as to match users with the resources they need, and to do all this in an efficient and transparent manner.

This can lead to a leap in R&D productivity and greatly enhance the effectiveness of public investment. This is the motivation behind I-STEM.
