Internship: Battery Modelling

What will you do at oorja

Join our Development Team at oorja to work on cutting edge technology! You will get to explore challenging problems in battery pack analysis and develop solutions for them.

  • Develop and analyse battery models to predict ageing, internal short-circuiting
  • Analyse the effect of different ageing mechanisms on battery performance
  • Create test reports and technical documentation as necessary

Who we are looking for

  • Hands-on experience in building and developing physics-based models for calendar life and cycle life analysis of batteries, internal short circuiting and its effects on battery performance, heating, and thermal management of battery packs
  • Sound knowledge of numerical methods

Required Qualification

  • Experience in developing, analysing physics-based battery models
  • Familiarity with Python

Internship Duration

  • 3 months to 1 year
