Advertisement for the post of JRF and RA in Smart Radio Environment Research
Project Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF), and Research Associate (RA) in an consotrium project towards 6G with IIT Delhi, IIT Indore, IIT Bhilai, IIT BHU, IIT Dhanbad, IIT Jodhpur, IIIT Bangalore, IIIT Naya Raipur and IIITDM Jabalpur.
Title of the Project: Smart Radio Environments, Implementation and deployment for targeted uses cases.
Desirable: Experience in any of the following is desired. Embedded systems, Analog and digital board design, fabrication, antenna design, testing and integration, knowledge in signal processing, communication systems and wireless systems, Programming experience in C, C++, Python, MATLAB, and Network programming (using REST APIs).
Duration: The initial appointment will be given for six months and is extendable based on performance till the project completion (Total project duration of 4 years).
How to apply: Interested candidates must email their detailed CVs to the PI so as to reach him by 25/12/2022. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. The positions are available immediately. Clearly mention in the email title the position (JRF or RA) being applied for. Send two separate emails if applying for both, RA and JRF with subject line “Applicant Smart Radio Environment:
JRF or Applicant Smart Radio Environment: RA” as applicable.
Due date: The application must reach the PI, (vbhatia@iiti.ac.in), by 25/12/2022.
Terms & Conditions:
1. No TA/DA will be provided to the candidate for the interview.
2. The PI shall not be responsible for email delay if any, or any other reason for nonreceipt of the document at the specified time and will result in disqualification/rejection of the application.
3. The decision of the selection committee will be final.
4. If the number of shortlisted candidates called for the interview is large, the selection committee may decide to restrict the number of candidates for the interview to a reasonable limit after considering qualifications and experience over and above the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
5. The appointment of the candidate will be governed by the terms and conditions of the Institute/ funding agency particularly applicable to the said project as and when required.
6. The selected candidate will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer.
7. The fellowship may be terminated with a 30-day notice before completion of the tenure if performance till date is not deemed satisfactory.
