B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/MSc/MS degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering (Fluid/Thermal stream) from an accredited institution AND selected through GATE in ME or allied streams. Candidates who have been selected through CSIR-UGC NET (Assistant Professorship) or those who have been selected by central Govt. Departments and their agencies and institutions such as IISc, IISER, DRDO, DST etc. are also eligible. Experience in experimental work related to fluid mechanics and prior exposure to flow visualization techniques using laser-based diagnostics would be preferable.
