We are also developing high-performance computing – Parallel\/MPI-based algorithm development using Open ACC and Open MP. <\/p>\r\n\r\n We have successfully solved several problems of practical interest involving numerical heat and mass transfer for applications like helical heat exchanger systems, heat exchangers with fluid flowing with blended nano-material, solar desalination systems, solar dryers, wind turbines, cascaded cyclone separators for waste management of STP plants.<\/p>\r\n\r\n My research scholar are working under the following topics <\/p>\r\n\r\n 1) Numerical simulation of blood through an artery - in this work, the medical image has been processed and the geometry of the stenosed artery has been extracted. The CFD simulation is conducted on patient-specific arteries, and the stress level on the artery is evaluated. <\/p>\r\n\r\n 2) Numerical simulation of multi-phase fluid flow in heat pipe - We are trying to simulate and design a cryogenic loop heat pipe for ISRO Ahmedabad to be used for circuit cooling applications in satellite. <\/p>\r\n\r\n 3) Yield improvement in solar desalination - in this work, we are attempting to improve the yield using nanomaterials and re-structuring the desalination system using CFD analysis <\/p>\r\n\r\n 4) CFD and optimization of onion storage - In this work, we are attempting to develop and design the cold storage system for onion storage using absorption refrigeration system <\/p>\r\n\r\n 5) Low torque improvement for CNG engines - this work is completed by my PhD Scholar, where we worked on development and matching of turbo based CNG engines.
